As is with most family built and owned complexes, the cultural history and traditions remain intact but sadly the people and its building have become rotten past a point.

Racism is abundant. The Hungarian residents who have been in the building for a while will make threats, rude gestures and comments to anybody else who isn't of same creed or culture. Usually reaching the epitome of low is when the landlords work hand in hand to spread the hatred, either through rude threat letters left on doors or unwarranted entry into your unit without notification to snoop about.
An infestation of cockroaches and bedbugs has been persistent in the building since 2009 and the landlords refuse to acknowledge said issue. Rats and other vermin are also common place in the lower level trash rooms which is consistently left unlocked and unattended too.
The building management itself is a cacophony of lies and dramatic tension. Within the past year (2011) landlords have repeatedly been switched to deal with sexual harassment charges and illegal unit entries.
The well water in the building is constantly deemed unfit for consumption by safety standards and the pipes burst above units and result in wet wall and ceiling patches that are left unattended for months on end.

If you are considering renting here, either be Hungarian or have a tolerance level built like a tank.
